It's been quite some time since I went to PDQ. When I lived in Raleigh, there was one near my house, so it was rather convenient to go to.
While in Concord the other day, I wanted lunch. This was around 1:30 PM. Chic-fil-A was packed (as usual). On my drive back home, I decided on PDQ. There wasn't a huge line at the drive-through, so I figured I'd be OK. PDQ's way of ordering is very personable. I like that. While it did take some time to get to the order taker, the wait for my food was pretty long. Probably about five minutes. I ordered the BBQ bacon ranch sandwich & zucchini fries. There was no reason given for the long wait.
All in all, this visit probably was about 15 minutes.
My food was good; however, the bacon could have been cooked a bit longer. The zucchini fries were amazing!
I do love that there are more menu options that what they used to have.
They are a bit pricey, but the portions are plentiful.
There is good parking, but I can imagine it gets pretty packed around lunch and dinner times.
