I came here for restaurant week and read the reviews prior to coming. I thought a lot of them were outdated and I would give this place a shot.
I got the sea bass cake to start. I have never had a sea bass cake, so I didn't really know what to expect. I thought it was very good. The chipotle coleslaw had good flavor to it. Not too hot, just the right amount of kick. For my entree, I had the filet mignon with grilled shrimp and lobster mac and cheese. The lobster mac and cheese tasted like it was once frozen and I think I had maybe three pieces of lobster in it. Just not good at all. Also, the asparagus was really lacking flavor. I ordered the filet medium rare, it came out with just a hint of pink in the middle. I am not a filet mignon temperature pro, but I do believe it was cooked a little more than it should have been. I ate it without complaining. The two grilled shrimp were just ok, again not a lot of flavor.
Lastly, I had the classic style cheesecake. I wasn't impressed. Nice presentation, but it only came with half of a strawberry and it was not made in house.
Our server was great. He was very attentive to us and we did not feel rushed throughout the night.
Nothing, really "wowed" me enough to come back or recommend it to others. I'm glad I tried it but overall the food lacked flavor and it was obvious most of the deserts are not made in house.
