  • I was really excited to find a juice bar and a few vegan goodies near my house, but good LORD this place is expensive. They fill the already-pricey juice up with ice so that you end up with a fraction of the amount of juice you thought you ordered. Plus I took a peek at today's veggies while I waited for the juice and noticed that they were all well past their prime--shriveled, mushy, and brown. The avocado toast was the wimpiest avocado toast I've ever seen ($4 for maybe a quarter of an avocado forked onto a slice of bread). I've tried this place twice and I love a great veggie juice--especially from organic ingredients--but their product isn't worth the price. (And P.S. You can't put "USDA Organic" on your finished product if the USDA hasn't actually authorized it.)
