I was excited to see a new breakfast place open near us in Scottsdale and went there with high hopes..the place is really nice and clean but thats where the positives stopped unfortunately.
CONS not food related: service wasnt bad, but not very attentive considering we where two of maybe 4 people there. We were never asked how our food was or got water or coffee refills. It was also strange that the windows inside the restaurant were being washed suring business hours by a third party up on a ladder with cleaning fluids right above where the place setting and utensils were sitting AND only a few feet away from where we were eating. I'm not a prude but that was a bit strange.
CONS food related: food was "Meh". Not bad but not good..by food I am referring to the main breakfast. It was far from memorable, underseasoned across the board and the waiteress didn't notice that my fiance's potatoes that are included in most of the meals on the menu were'nt on the plate. Now for the bagels...for all the bragging and build up on the website they were a massive disappointment. My fiance grew up in NJ and NY and she was very excited until she tasted them. Asiago bagel... was completed under cooked (doughy) and barely toasted at all..basically unedible. Might have said something but the waitress never really came back ao we just didn't eat it. There is definitely a quality control issue here and with the owner onsite i would expect her to be tasting and checking food
Anyways, not terrible overall but completly forgettable. Probably will not return. It's a shame the basics like seasoning and cooking bagels completely is a challenge for this place
