  • Have had multiple problems with 2015 GMC Yukon. Has been in shop approximately 25-days in the first year. Although there appears to be an overwhelming amount of input and information available on the internet for the issues I am having with this vehicle (including white papers published directly by GM- the manufacturer of the vehicle), the service department "plays dumb" and acts as though I am the first 2015 GMC Yukon owner to bring up this well known, well documented issues/problems. The service department staff is courtesy and polite to your face, with friendly "hello's" and "please" and "thank you", while at the same time they are untrustworthy in their approach, how they avoid telling me (the customer?) the truth about recurring and ongoing issues with the 2015 GMC Yukon. Issues they have played dumb about to date include- vibration at 75-80MPH (service dept blames alignment, wheel balance, tires, etc.. See internet for the thousands and thousands of complaints about the same "buffeting/vibration issue"), and the "ticking noise" from engine compartment (new 2015 DI system with excessive noise), A/C that completely fails in rear of vehicle, entire steering column had to be replaced in first week of ownership, and then entire catalytic converter/muffler system, and then later the steering wheel had to be replaced (all defective). Service dept acts like its no big deal to have to bring in a BRAND NEW car for all of this repeated warranty or service issues...I see it as a monumental waste of my time (1+ hour per check in/check out, plus travel time). On last visit I was sent over to Enterprise Rent a Car to wait for 1-hour to get a loaner car, because service department gave away my GMC dealership loaner to someone else, even though I had an appointment that I scheduled the week before.
