Can't believe I've lived in Phoenix for 10+ months now and this is the first time I've been here. I've passed by this place during the day and have always wanted to come here, but just can't get myself over here when they are open since they don't open till 4 pm. When I lived in Vegas, I would go to their Blue Martini often and always had a great time there, so had high hopes for this location and it did not disappoint me.
I came Super Bowl Sunday and decided to sit out on the porch area since I'm not a big sports fan and they were having live music on the porch. The atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable. I didn't feel like I had to dress a certain way or look a certain way coming to this location like I do when I am in Vegas.
My waitress was very sweet, friendly and made sure she checked up on me and my guest frequently during our visit. She made sure to let me know about their Happy Hour that ran from 4-7 pm. The Martinis and cocktails that I got were half off plus 50 cents per drink. I was very happy that she told me about the 50 cents extra per drink since the other locations that I've been to didn't charge that extra amount. However, it may be a new thing and all locations charge it now. The food was also 1/2 off during Happy Hour.
The drinks were very strong, at least for me, so I only got two drinks in the two hours I was here. I got the Peach Raspberry Margarita and the Lemon Drop Martini. Both were so good! My guest got the Bulleit Old Fashion and Lychee Martini. We also ordered the Shrimp and Crab dip and the Beef & Portabella Flatbread. The Shrimp and Crab Dip was so good and they gave us a huge portion compared to other places that offer this dip. My only complaint was they only gave us 7 small pieces of bread so we had a ton of leftover dip. We asked for more and our waitress was more than happy to get it for us, but she didn't let us know that it was an extra cost. I kind of figured they would charge us something for it, but was disappointed that it wasn't mentioned when we asked for more. I think it is an important detail to mention to your customers if something costs extra.
The live music was very enjoyable and the two guys did a great job with the songs that they sang. They sang a lot of great songs from older to more recent stuff. During their break, they made sure to come around to everyone's table and say hello.
Would definitely come back here again. It's a very nice spot to come and hang out while getting a drink or two and just relax.
