  • Not sure why there's any negative reviews... I've been to many nail salons but this one takes the cake. I've been going to Hardrock for a year now, and get my nails done once every 2 weeks. I can happily say I've ever been close to disappointed! I've seen Doug and David who are both super talented, however I always book my appointments with Johnny, the nail expert. His execution is proper and the ideas that come to him are amazingly artistic. I'll give him an idea and he runs with it and takes it to the next level every single time. Yes sometimes you have to wait a bit sometimes even if you book an appointment but great work takes time and Johnny will never rush with a client of his, I wouldn't want him rushing on my nails so why would I expect him to rush anybody else? Plus you can always get a pedicure while you wait which is usually what I do. I read on here that staff is rude which is the craziest thing I've heard. If I'm waiting to get my nails done, I'll just sit and talk with Johnny and Doug. They're super funny and very far from rude. Even the ladies who do my pedicures are sweet and have little chats with me as well, for somebody to say they couldn't understand what anybody was saying is purely absurd. As for the prices, you pay for what you get, enough said. I will never go to another salon so long as I live in Toronto. :)
