  • I've used NLC's services before in the past and was satisfied. However my last time here has been a nightmare. Car was fixed at a somewhat reasonable time. I was told numerous times that my vehicle was detailed and they did a full inspection on the car before calling me to get it. The car was not detailed, it was very messy and duty on the side that needed repair. Also there was little gas in my vehicle, I do that to prevent people from joy riding in my car, I know I had enough to go home and back, but upon leaving the vehicle stated quite clearly I had 0 miles left on my vehicle. I'm not familiar with the area and was scared id run out of gas. I was lucky and went in a direction that had a gas station, I should have checked my phone but I don't know the area and I don't want a ticket. I let it go, I've been here twice they did a great job fixing the damages and it's just gas a dirty car, I don't mind cleaning it to my standards, I find joy in cleaning things. Here's where the company earned a 1 star and me downloading yelp to air my grievances. There was a chrome piece on my trunk that started to sag.. i called NLC the next day and they went ahead and ordered the part, it took forever... over a week I believe. I had to use paracord to make sure the piece stayed relatively in place, I didn't want it flying around and damaging the paint while I waited for this piece. Now when I'm told the car was detailed I expect a car that looks like it's detailed, when I have a little bit of gas in my car, I expect it to be there when I'm not driving the darn thing and finally when I'm told the car is silly inspected and there's nothing else wrong with it, that's what I expect. Over a week ago from writing this review the chrome piece was changed out without issue, however there was a small black cap that covered up the port to open the trunk manually and the cap didn't come with the New trim piece and they didn't let me have the damaged part with the cap on it. I called them last week and they said they would look into it and see if they haven't discarded the part yet, well nobody followed up and I spent my lunch on the phone with them. This drama has been dragging out forever. I didn't want to write this review because I think their work is great, but Jesus man, can't I get a break? I postponed a business trip because I wasn't going to drive with my trunk damaged the way it was and now This? :l EDIT: I'm making an amendment to my post. A manager reached out to me and heard all of my grievances and took them seriously. The missing piece Is being ordered and replaced and I'm getting a courtesy detail. I'm not sure why I didn't speak to him sooner. He was not the manager I spoke to last week. Anyway I meant it when I said this place does great body work. One thing that was confirmed was that my car had enough gas to travel 21 miles..... not sure who drove it and wasted my gas but oh well. :l Final edit: NLC ended up resolving my issue and the courtesy detail was great. I'm satisfied with the results of this issue. But still upset someone wasted 21 miles worth of gas. That's enough to go from red rock canyon to henderson... I get that the vehicle needs to be driven and tested, but 21 miles is excessive. I still stand by the post that this shop does excellent body work and the services they provide make life very easy and I didn't have to do much to get my car woes resolved. Nobody us perfect and mistakes happen and everyone should be given a chance to correct them.
