| - Let me try to remember my stay here:
I arrived at 8:30 via the Super Shuttle and had to check in and wait for my friends. We got a room on the third-to-the-top floor. It had a full kitchen (with a giant stainless steel fridge), a pull out sofa, and a king bed. I think it was a CA king but I'm not sure. I don't even remember the size of the TV. There was also a kinda big master bath AND a separate 1/2 bath in the hall. We designated the hall bathroom as the poop bathroom and the master as the pee. I was only waiting in my room for like a minute before friends arrived.
We went down the elevator to the casino and waited for more people. The casino is super lame. But more on that later. There's a bar in the center of the casino and that's where we sat. The bartender was friendly and cute, just like all bartenders are supposed to be. He suggested that we go to the nightclub. So we did.
The nightclub is just up the escalator and is surrounded by big bad bouncers. We handed them our IDs and trotted past. Half of the booths/tables in the club were reserved. For whom I'm not sure because the place was nearly empty. My friends and I were practically the only people on the dance floor. Shots are $1 until 10pm (at least on Thursdays this is true) but we had boys buying us drinks all night so I don't know how much non-shots are. We spent some time on the balcony, it has a view of the pool and the parking lot.
Then we went down to the casino. Some man gave us hundreds of dollars to gamble with but some of us chose not to use the supposed free money. Some friends played blackjack but I toured the casino looking for something fun but nothing was to be found. As previously mentioned, the casino is lame. Tight slots. Small. Not a fun environment.
While my friend and I were staring blankly at a penny slot machine trying to decide if it was worth the $.01 to play, more boys came up to us. We gathered our friends at the blackjack table and went back to the nightclub.
This time we weren't carded. The nightclub kicked us out at 1:00. In our drunken stupor none of us could figure out why the club was making us leave before the bars close. We ditched our men and went back to our room.
We had put water in the fridge so when we came back we had cold water. Everyone ended up throwing up in every bathroom. So much for trying to keep one of the rooms clean.
There's something wrong with every single one of us because we were all out of bed before 7am. One of the girls really wanted coffee so I ventured out. I am not a coffee drinker nor a coffee maker. There was a Tassimo in the room! It wasn't Tassimo brand, but to make coffee all I had to do was insert a complimentary coffee pod and water into the machine and press the button. I didn't taste it, but the coffee was said to be good.
We didn't officially check out, and as of yet we haven't heard from the hotel saying that we should have checked out. So that's good. There's absolutely nothing around the hotel other than a gas station, so if you aren't into casino/pool/nightclub then you'll be sorry if you stay here.
Arizona sucks, but if you want an incredibly inexpensive night, come here.
