I went in there today to try and get my disclosure for an upcoming trial. When I asked at the Information Desk where to go they told me downstairs at the "Prosecutor's Office."
I got downstairs and see there's a sign for the Prosecutor's Office right in front of me. I walked in and saw a lady standing at the counter and no one behind it. She had already rang the bell she said but I rang it again. After another 5 minutes of waiting an employee comes moseying up to the desk and tells me that I need to go to the "Municipal Prosecutor's Office" and I was actually in the "Provincial Prosecutor's Office."
She blamed the lady in the Info Booth for never being clear when she tells people where to go for their traffic tickets' disclosure. I blame them both because this lady clearly knows this happens regularly and can't be bothered to either sit at her desk or leave a sign to help people steered the wrong way by the Info Desk upstairs. As well, I blame the Ontario & Toronto governments for not bothering to put up proper signage if this is a regular occurrence (as it seems to be).
I try to avoid being here as much as possible because if I'm here it means I have done something wrong haha.
