  • I think a better name would be one hour thieves. Five years ago my brother paid for our unit site unseen. He lived in Houston and I was out of the country. We have a 425 square foot mobile home. He was charged $5000. The unit I later found out was out of date and too big for the mobile home. 18 months ago the unit stopped working and they came out and said we needed new ducts. I was out of the country again and my brother was charged another $4000 (the mobile home has 7 ducts) I took the skirting off around the trailer and realized it's cooler underneath than inside. Then I saw that the ducts were not replaced. They had only replaced around 20ft of flexible foil duct ($30 in parts). They also had wrote in the contract they would strap the ducts up. This was not done. The flexible duct they had put in was leaking and had fallen away from the vents. I called them and at first they said they id no work here then they called me back and said they did and they would send out a tech and they could be additional charges. I told them they would not get another penny from me. The tech came out and said it was beyond his expertise. He scheduled for some installers to come. They came out worked for 2 hours and said all was well. My ac is broke again it's only been 18 hours. I can honestly say if you are a senior citizen and want to be cheated call one hour air conditioning.
