  • I think that Centre Island is a great place for kids and adults! Contrary to what some of the reviewers said, I don't think that it should be torn down. Centreville has a lot of history and I remember going there when I was a kid and having such a great time. For those people who think that the rides aren't exciting enough, they can go to Canada's Wonderland where they can go on rides that will make their heads spin. But for those people who have kids, like my son who is 10 and is a bit afraid of the big scary rides- Centreville is perfect for him. He absolutely loved the Scrambler and he went on it 5 times!! I like the fact that Centreville has a lot of trees which provide lots of shade, especially on a really hot day. For someone like me who burns easily, having that shade makes it much easier to wait while my son goes on the rides. It's also great that there are a lot of other areas of the park to explore. It's like we're going on an adventure. This year we went over the bridge to Olympic Island and we saw the park with the beautiful little theatre. Each year we discover something new when we go and the ferry ride back is so relaxing feeling the wind in your hair. The price is also not that bad, when you compare it to other bigger amusement parks. Another attraction, is that the grounds aren't so big, so you don't get tired walking around. My family will keep going as long as Centreville is there.
