  • Don't feel like waiting hours to get into the regularly crammed Apple store in Market Mall? Me neither. That's why even though it is a little less shiny, I always make sure I swing by Westworld for all things Mac. And let's be honest, if you aren't on the Mac train yet, you need to be. And where better to learn about these amazing computers then a much smaller and quieter store. In the past five years that I've been going to Westworld, they've never not had something I was looking for. A couple of times, they've even had some older models on sales. You never see that at the Apple store! And yes, you can sample all your favourite gadgets like the Ipad. (And as soon as someone can tell me why those things are actually useful, I might get one!) Besides being really nice and far less packed than the Apple Store, the employees have always made time to talk to their customers and maybe that is because many of them work on commission, but I've never felt extreme amounts of pressure from any of them. Who knew that the suitable alternative to the Apple store was already in Calgary the whole time?
