I awoke at 5:30 this morning to my house vibrationg and shaking and my windows rattling. I went outside and found two enormous trucks parked right next to the side of my house apparently after delivering rock a half a block away. I called them to ask why they would start deliveries so early and was basically told there's no law against it. ZERO common courtesy. Funny, their businesses hours state they don't open until six, but they figure it's OK to wake up an entire neighborhood so they can get a jump on their day. I've worked in this type of service industry before (cranes putting in A/C units) and we NEVER scheduled deliveries earlier than 6, even in the summer. It's generally a good idea to be respectful of other people when running a business. Apparently this place is so busy they have no need for that.
