While running errands last week for a food event I fell across Sebastian's place in a neighbourhood I clearly don't get to enough...or well ever. I first met Sebastian last year at an event where I was able to try his amazing pastries paired with tea. When something is good you don't forget. I bought some tea that night and left a promise I'd visit his pastry shop.
The day came and I was not disappointed. Well only a little bit as they had just sold their last pain du chocolat. They had more baking but I didn't have time to wait. So I picked up an almond crescent, some macarons and a package of cookies for the kids.
I enjoyed a few minutes chatting with Yanina, Sebastian's wife before having to rush off again. The shop is charming, quaint and inviting. And the pastries as delicious as I remembered. Looking forward to picking up some pain du chocolat next time!
