| - I have definitely experienced better. This past Saturday morning, I needed two "Travelers," which are 96 ounces of coffee in a convenient carrier. (Perfect for morning group outings.) When I called and placed my order, I did not know they were called Travelers, but the woman who took my order knew what I needed and helped me place it.
When I stepped into this location - Green Valley Parkway and Warm Springs - I told the Starbucks associate, Toyo, that I had, "The big order that I called in about 15 minutes ago." She looked at me a little panicked and said, "Big order?" -- I realized that could have meant multiple drinks, so I further explained that I called in the two orders of, "the 90-something ounces of coffee."
I may as well have been speaking Japanese or insulted her mother, because the look Toyo gave me was a look of, "I don't know what you're saying," and, "Did you just kill my cat?" She said, "90 ounces? What??" Her associate explained, "Oh I think she's talking about the Travelers." I realized I may have called the other Green Valley Pkwy. location. After checking my phone, I found that yes, that was indeed the case, and I explained this to the Starbucks associates, directing it at Toyo. She said, "Yeah, that's at Pebble, not here."
It's one of those things where I'm happy it was at another location because frankly, I didn't like how the associates handled my simple question. I told Toyo next time she didn't have to make me feel like a complete imbecile but lucky for her, there won't be a next time for me. I may as well go down the road where they were happy to help and patient with me.
