| - We got here at 11 am and the loungers were probably at 90% capacity.
Have your room key ready to flash at the security, just start hoofing towards the back of the pool area so you can find your lounger right away.
It's like going up and down rows and rows at the shopping mall looking for a parking spot, just park out in the boonies and it'll save you tons of time that you'd be wasting searching for a spot right by the mall doors.
Look for loungers without towels on them, there are signs that if you have not been using the lounger for up to 2 hours, the staff will remove the towel, so that's my tip.
And you really can't have a bad spot in the house, there's not much shade so you will find sun everywhere you go.
In April, the temps were already at 80s and climbing. We were told the pool is heated to at least 78 and 80 degrees year-round so, not to worry even if it's a crummy day - go! Still spend a day and chill by the pool.
There were people going around asking for drink orders all the time, so having a cold one in your hands will not be an arduous task.
I really appreciated how there were water stations sprinkled throughout the entire pool area. They didn't check our bags, so we had brought some empty water bottles with us to fill up. Otherwise, they do offer some plastic cups near the hydration stations but on a hot day like today, we would have required multiple trips.
Where we were sunning, we could hear the dolphin show announcement and speaker but it didn't bother us.
The pool was quite large, but not as big as say, MGM or Mandalay Bay. There were mostly middle-aged couples, retirees, and a few families. There were no screaming children or ones running around. Definitely a chill pool, not a party pool.
If you want a party pool, Mirage offers Bare, their European-style pool with some industry Mondays.
