| - We donated a nice big TV there today. While it wasn't a flat screen, it was a little older, circa early 2000's. A good TV. They stuck it out on the floor right away and slapped a $59.99 price tag on it. Two young families, with lots of children came to try to find a decent TV to buy. I talked to two of them and they said they would love that TV, but it was too much. Considering this store serves a very low income area, why do they price things out of reach for them? Does not make sense. We give them a free item, and they mark it up too much. They could have put a $25 to $30 price tag on it, and it probably would have sold right away. I do not want to donate to this store anymore because of that. If stores like these are going to be in low income neighborhoods, price it so they can actually buy something they need. Until then, I will donate my things elsewhere. It's not just the electronics, I have also donated clothes, books, housewares, paintings, blankets, all kinds of things to this location. Just quit marking everything up too high for those people to afford it.
