| - Worst customer service I have ever received. I will NEVER use them again.
We purchased a Groupon for this company with the idea that we would try them. The groupon was for 2.5 hours of cleaning services to be performed by 2 cleaning professionals.
The ladies they sent to clean our house were very pleasant and nice. Here is what they did: cleaned bathroom sinks, toilets, tubs and counter tops; dusted using a Swiffer-type duster (no furniture polish / cleaning solution) the tops of the living room furniture and bedroom furniture (and did not do a particularly thorough job of dusting); they vacuumed most of the carpet (not all of it, as we found areas in our bedroom that were untouched); wiped down the kitchen counter tops; and did a quick mopping (with a mildewy-smelling mop) of the wood and tile floors. Our home is about 1600 square feet, and we did not have them clean the third bedroom at all.
They were "finished" within one hour and began to pack up their supplies. Finished? But I paid for 2.5 hours? What?
I asked them if, since they were "finished", if they could do more cleaning to use up the remaining hour and 1/2 that we had paid for. I asked them if they would clean the windows, the baseboards, and if they could do a more thorough dusting and scrubbing, etc. They two ladies looked at each other as though they were a bit scared of what was going to happen next (because this probably happens a lot, based on the other reviews here), and then said that they are "not allowed" to do that. I was puzzled. Not allowed? We paid for 2.5 hours of cleaning. Can I not get the 2.5 hours of cleaning for which I paid?
They put me on the phone with someone named Candice who they said was their supervisor. Candice was the rudest person with whom I have ever had the distinct displeasure of speaking in any customer service situation.
Candice said that my asking the two ladies to stay to complete the 2.5 hours was asking for a "deep cleaning" and that there would be an extra charge for that. I then asked if we could work it out another way. I asked if they could not do the windows or the "deep cleaning" (which I hardly would consider to be a deep cleaning at all), then could they come back another day to complete the remaining 1.5 hours for which we had already paid. Candice said no. However, she did not just say no, she was extremely unprofessional and rude the entire time.
I told her that we paid for something and we expect to get what we paid for, and I told her that her attitude towards me was going to result in their company "losing a potential new customer" if she did not at least try to work this out with me in some way. She just yelled at me and continued to behave in an unprofessional manner. I hung up on her.
As far as I am concerned, we paid for 2.5 hours of cleaning and we only got ONE hour, and not even an hour of particularly well-done cleaning, at that. This company essentially misrepresented what their offer was, and I feel like we were completely ripped off. We could have had another company do what they did for much less money, and with much better customer service.
Not only will I never use this company again (which is too bad, because I really did like the friendly cleaning crew that came to our house), I will tell everyone I know to NEVER use them.
Obviously this company does not know how to treat its customers, and a company who conducts business that way does not deserve to be in business at all, particularly in a bad economy when there are so many other companies who would do anything to get your business.
