| - Unfortunately, our family had a similar experience to the other negative reviews for Total Dog! training company. The trainer, Brice Cavanaugh, came to our house originally to help us stop some overly aggressive behavior and biting our dog was doing to our kids. Brice sold us the "unlimited" package for $1500 and talked us out of doing individual sessions because with unlimited sessions he would come as many times as needed until we were happy with the dog's behavior. Yeah, right! Brice never worked with us on "fixing" the aggressive dog behaviors that we originally complained about. He promised teaching us 14 basic dog commands, but we only got 4 basic commands before he skipped out on us. What good is an "unlimited" dog training package when the trainer refuses to respond on phone, text, or email for scheduling a next service? I want to point out that Brice continually praised my family saying that we were doing all of the homework and progressing much faster than his other clients. Well, obviously not fast enough because we only received 4 of the promised 14 basic commands out of him before he moved on to the next customer of a highly limited, unlimited package. His business is not registered with the BBB and does not exist as an AZ business (per AZ corporation commission search). Essentially only the business name has been trademarked in AZ, so if you choose to do business with Brice you are doing so person-to-person, i.e. not through a business entity. Of course, I would recommend that customers avoid this business so that they are not burned. Now, I have to explain to my young kids why their dog trainer is not coming back....a life lesson, I guess.
