I was going to get married at Sunset Gardens a few years ago...the wedding was called off and Tony suggested that I keep my $3,000 deposit on hold with his beautiful venue just in case I decided to get married there in the future. I thought that was a good idea and took his advice. I decided to finally collect my partial deposit because I was planning a big birthday event and decided that I would rather utilize the funds towards that. Tony, at first, mentioned that he would need some time to research the paperwork to see indeed whether or not I am entitled to a refund at all. (Understandable) Luckily for me, I did follow the guidelines by canceling 90 days in advance for a partial refund. I gave Tony a month before calling again to check on what was happening with the paperwork and refund. Tony had me confused with another client and told me that I would not be receiving a refund. I was very upset and ready to take legal action. Fortunately, I did not have to because Tony's assistant Samantha helped to find my number because apparently after Tony hung up the receiver he realized that he had me confused with another client that was not due a refund. Samantha was able to find my number (which had changed) and was able to contact me and reconcile the situation. I was very happy and satisfied that Tony and his establishment did the right thing to remedy the situation. Thank you Tony and Sunset Gardens for being a hardworking and honest business. Kudos to you and your team!!
