As a 20+ year Vegas native, checking out the Neon Museum has always been on my bucket list of local things to do. As a 20+ year Vegas native, visiting the Neon Museum for a 9:20 am tour knowing the temperature will be 110+ was all good...=)
Service: 5/5 Everyone we came across from checking in, to the gift shop personnel to our tour guide was so friendly and happy you'd think it was the Holiday season. High energy smiles were everywhere. The friendly hostess checked us in quickly and gave our bands for our tour. The Gift Shop personnel were very friendly and informed us that water is allowed on the tour, but food is not. I bought a banana and a water to sober up from a long night of drinking. The woman in the gift shop took my banana peel from me and threw it away as I was browsing through the gift shop. They offered umbrellas to shade yourself from the sun. I appreciated the extra effort to take care of the patrons =)
Danny was our tour leader and she was excellent. Very funny and kept checking on everyone to ensure they were ok in the 110+ degree weather. She had a lot of great stories and facts of all the displays to keep the tour group engaged. It was a great walk down nostalgia lane for me as I used to see many of these signs growing up in Vegas. The best part of Danny was her friendliness and her passion for Las Vegas history. It was evident in her tour and I feel lucky to have her as a guide.
Value: 5/5 $15 for a well guided 1 hour tour with massive amounts of photo opportunities and Las Vegas history is a bargain. This is a one of a kind experience for $15? This is not something that I've come across frequently in Vegas or any city for that matter.
This is one of those venues that are so interesting with so many photo opps that people would visit it regardless of the service. Fortunately for visitors of the Neon Museum, everyone is so friendly and provides great customer service like a 5 star resort. Because of that, I'll be planning an evening tour of the Neon Museum soon. If you love your social media accounts like I do, the Neon Museum is a must visit for all your fans. I know mine appreciated the visit..hehe =)
