| - THE WORST experience I have ever had at any service store, literally THE WORST. I would give zero star if I had the option! I bought the voucher on Teambuy $39 for interiror and exterior detailing. They were called Pro Detailing back then when I bought and used my voucher (September 2013).
I called them in the morning around 11am to book an appointment as the voucher instructed. The guy answering the phone did not ask for my name, type/model of the car whatsoever and just told me to come in at 3pm. I asked them how long I will have to wait to get the job done, the guy on the phone told me an hour and half.
I got to the place around 3:15pm. I could not find the service people in charge at first and it took me about another 10 mins to find a guy to finally talk to. They use two spots at a self-service car wash beside a gas station. The guy told me I was late and now it will take 3 hours to finish the job. I did not argue much because I knew it was my fault for being late and showed him the voucher on my phone. He told me to press on the redeem button, once it's redeemed they can do the job today, so I did. AFTER I redeemed my voucher, the guy told me there will be $40 for tax and gratuities. Tax/gratuities for $40 on a $39 voucher?!? He said it's a 3-hour job that they are doing, it's a lot of services being done, he mumbled bunch of extra things that he'd have to do on my car (salt removal on carpet?) after skimming inside of my car. WAIT but did they not say on the phone the wait will only be an hour and half? I got very frustrated with the way he talked and drove away from their place trying to calm myself down and consider again if I should still get their service and pay the additional fees or just get a refund from teambuy.
I ended up going back to the place and was ready to pay for the additional charges. It's another guy that came out this time, he started providing a breakdown of the $40 - $5 for tax, 14.75 for gratuities and the rest for some salt removal material that they have to use to get rid of the salt on my carpet. WAIT but didn't the other guy say the entire charge is tax and gratuities? I waited another 15 min for the other guy to come back. He came back on a motorcycle, as soon as he got out of his bike he said: "we are not cleaning your car. You came here late so your appointment is cancelled so your voucher is already voided." BUT he told me to redeem the voucher at the first place and told me they can get the service done today when we came in.
They are very unprofessional. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The two of them keep contradicting themselves, providing inconsistent information. HUGE waste of time for even going there and completely got my day ruined.
