  • Yes, the desserts are gigantic, but massively overpriced based on how much you get and how good they actually are, plus the service is indeed extremely slow. Kinda knocks the excitement and anticipation out of waiting for what promises to be a sinfully scrumptious dessert when you've waited around so long for it that you've lost interest. As a former Upper East Sider with many fond late-night memories of the New York original, I've got to agree with all the reviewers here who note that this branch just pales in comparison, as it has none of the cozy, rustic, old-school charm.
