| - My roommate and myself purchased a living social deal for Five Star Moving, 3 movers, 2 hours for $88. We thought this would be a great deal since my roommate has used this company three times before, and loaded and unloaded her entire apartment in less than two hours. The movers call and say they can be there an hr early if that works, we say great. When the moving crew arrived one of them recognized one of us from our place of employment where he has looked for an apartment with his girlfriend that is no longer available. They begin moving, my roommate and myself go to the new apartment, 100 yards away, to get things situated. We have a view from the new place to the old where, after an hours passes we begin watching where we find the men on their cell phones here and there, and standing around in between loads. One of us decide to walk over to see the progress, as we approach we see a female standing by the truck with the men. We then go inside to see that the back bathroom now has toilet paper and the fan on and has obviously been used by these men on our time, all while there is still plenty in the apartment. All of a sudden a womens voice is coming up the stairs and inside the apartment, the girlfriend is now in my home. This gives us an uneasy feeling, this person does not work for the company, this is a liability to us and we see her as a distraction. After 2 1/2 hours the movers are finally at the new place. A total of four hours, and $200 extra dollars later we are done and told that everything is moved. As we begin putting away our wine collection we notice a good amount missing, we decide to go back to the old apartment where we find a full case of very expensive wine outside on the ground at the bottom of the stairs. We are just thankful we found it and not a minor. This was the last straw for us, we decided to call Craig the owner. We explained the situation and he looked into it and called back. He was "reassuring" us that the girlfriend was actually already on the property because her and the guy mover and moving in the complex, and are good friends with the manager. Well, given the manager is one of the roommates it was verified that none of that is true. They do no live there now or in the near future and are in no way close friends. This immediately gave us a very bad feeling about these people being in our home. When this was explained to the owner he replied, "there are two sides to every story. His side, your side, and the truth". He became very unprofessional and eventually hung up. We feel very cheated by the actions that took place. As a returning customer we are sorry to say that we will no longer be using this company for any further moving needs. I suggest not leaving these employees unattended or who knows what will happen on the time you are paying for.
