  • CLT's best avocado toast has been located! My husband and I were anxiously awaiting the opening of Lincoln's. We kept walking past the shop and pressing our noses against the door to look inside - sorry for the smudges :) The local market/cafe concept is big here. They've got plenty of kitschy items for you to buy for your dog or cat - funny toys and treats. They have hot sauces, mugs, honey, and lotions. They have a pretty good beer and wine selection -- I was a little sad that they don't carry Lenny Boy kombucha. My husband had a rather expensive drip coffee here, $3 for a small. Ow to the toast... they put mashed up avocado, EVOO on a crispy delicious piece of bread. I know it sounds simple but it was SO good. My husband likes the civil union (chicken cutlet sandwich) and the bahn Joe vi (roasted pork loin sandwich). They have Zapp's chips - love these!!! The prices are little, well, pricey ... but that's the case at all of these little hip corner shops. This is a great addition to South End! Be sure to visit!
