| - I lived here for two years. I always paid rent on time, if not early. In those two years, there were multiple changes of management, and massive disorganization. In the first year there was a double-murder a few doors down. Security around the complex tightened temporarily, but not much. The sheer amount of break-ins and police reports were staggering in the past year. Surely, there has to be something more they can do to ensure tenant safety; especially at the price tag we pay for "luxury living." The walls are paper-thin. I can hear neighbors' conversations. Upon move-out, I scrubbed the apartment top-to-bottom. The maintenance manager quoted that he "never saw anyone leave an apartment this spotless." I paid pet rent for two years, and asked the front office if carpets were always replaced after tenants left. He said that most likely they would be, and not to worry about being gouged on my security deposit. Pinnacle management company decided to charge me a "cleaning fee" and an additional $600 for carpet replacement that they would be doing regardless. I called to ask what the $960 (plus deposit) in pet rent I paid over two years went for. They told me "admin fees." Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere. Aesthetically, the complex is pleasing, but, it's modern amenities is similar to slapping lipstick on a pig.
