| - Do NOT EVER consider even bothering with calling this company.! This is NOT a great local business, actually they are the WORST LOCAL BUSINESS, they are incompetent, left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing, they misinform you, they lie to you, just so they can get the call and send the tech, now once that's accomplished, when the service tech arrives the whole story changes 180 degrees, and you're up against the wall, they try to corner you in, so you have no choice but to accept their ridiculous fees, this is the story, one of our tankless water heaters stopped working, I called them since they were the ones who installed the units and serviced tham in the past, and I was told the units are 4.5 years old and have a 6 year warranty, so they are under warranty, even at that time the lady that I spoke with was trying very hard to sign me up for a yearly plan of some kind, very pushy.! I said no thanks, we'll see after the water heater issue is dealt with, so now, when the gentleman who came to my residence arrived, the warranty for some reason evaporated, further more, he even told me that, quote "I was never trained to work on this unit" yet, they wanted $275 to (get this) TRY to find out what is wrong, however the $275 would have only covered 2 hours, so I asked, what if the 2 hours are up and still no answer to our problems, he said, well then it will be more money, PARKER AND SONS am not a PAID training facility for Parker & Sons technicians, you'll have to get your paid training somewhere else, the technician just turned around and left, no bye, sorry anything of that sort, very professional I have to say, so what I do.? I call the office of Parker and Sons and ask for a supervisor, after some time on hold, a "guy" answers the phone with "Jeff" nothing else, no intro nothing, eventually we figure out that he is a "supervisor" but has no clue as to what is happening, well, the problem with this is that the tech called his supervisor 3 times from my residence, so someone did know what the issue was, but they "did not" according to the "supervisor" I proceed to tell him the story of the water heater and warranty and all of that, and as usual, he goes, well I have to investigate, really, you do? So in other words we gat absolutely nowhere, I tell him, I probably will tell everyone around me NOT TO EVER CALL Parker and Sons, and his answer was "priceless", he simply told me: "okeydokey" and hung up...very "professional supervisor". Do yourselves a favor, make sure you misplace their contact info so you will never be able to find them again.
