| - This store has lost my business and I will tell friends and family to stay away from this unfriendly Verizon location.
Yes, this store has mostly competent employees, but that is about all this store has going for it.
I have visited this location three times and each visit was meh.
First visit was about 4 months ago. I came in with a cracked screen and the male service rep I got was unfriendly and didn't even try to help me. He just gave me a number to call. He didn't ask if I had insurance or if I wanted an upgrade. I am 4'11" with a baby face and look 16-18 years old, even thought I am really 26 years old. This seemed like ageism to me, because I am sure if I was regular sized and looked my age they would have at least asked for my account info and tried to up sell me a new phone.
Second visit was September 8th. My step-dad and I went into this location to mainly separate me from his account and to fix his phone problem. The guy was not that friendly but he helped us and answered my dad's questions. When it came to separating our accounts though he handed me of to Denueva (caucasian lady, 20ish, with dishwater blond/ brownish hair and glasses), and boy this lady was very uninterested in her job. She was meek and more interested in the conversation she was having with a coworker. She told me that my bill would be $50 and that was it. We left and I awaited my first bill from Verizon, thinking $50 is a great price!
I got my bill 9/14 and $73.65 is what I will owe monthly. I was shocked and wondered about this "Smartphone Line Access" cost. I decided to call the *611 number and while on hold I decided to just drive to this store to talk with someone about my bill. Right when I parked in the parking lot the phone service rep answered and we talked and she was very very nice! She explained that that charge is standard for any smart phone and that the service rep at the Verizon free standing store should have addressed this cost with me.. I told them that I was not informed at all about this cost. After hanging up with the friendly and helpful service rep I walked inside to this store and asked to talk to someone. I talked to the male service rep/manger with glasses and he was flippant with me about my problem and about his lazy coworker, Denueva. Thanks to him not caring at all about my problem, I told him I was going to write a review on Yelp about my experience at his store. Again, very flippant about this. So here is is.
If you look like an adolescents don't go to this store.
If you want friendly service don't go to this store.
I would give this place 1 star but they at least can complete a task and do their job.
Robots could also do there job.
