  • Today we brought my 4 yo granddaughter to help us pull carrots out of the dirt, pluck off spinach leaves and twist humongous zucchini off the vines. She was so thrilled to help; in fact, she didn't want to stop. At the cashier's tent we were able to buy elephant garlic and asparagus. The ppl who run the farm are so nice and accommodating. There are little wheelbarrows to use and we brought our own heavy duty bags. Can't wait until we can pick our own pumpkins in October.
