  • To Whom It May Concern, My wife and I took her 2005 Jeep Liberty Renegade in for service because it was overheating and leaking coolant. The customer rep at the inspection bay indicated the radiator had a crack and needed to be replaced, since it was irreparably damaged? Estimate: $500. Subsequently, my wife received a call from the service department, claiming the coolant reservoir also needed to be replaced at a cost of $198. Total bill: $698! Following this suspicious "service upsell", the Jeep overheated 3 times over the next 3 days!? The service department now claims the the fan needs to be replaced at a cost of $366 plus tax and labor. Tell it to the judge! I will see you in Small Claims Court! Don't mess with Chicago! Disillusioned, Sal and Maria
