| - In Regards to the recent response from Davy. O of Curl Up and Dye:
Thanks so much for finally getting back to my review, almost a year later...
I understand health problems and being pregnant is difficult and scary, i hope she is doing better and that everyone is healthy and happy.
- By no means are my dreadlocks more important than the lives of 2 human beings. If I had been told that back in March of 2015 when I first called that she was having health issues with her pregnancy (which is actually none of my business and probably a HIPPA violation on her behalf) it would have been no big deal and I would never have written this review.
-I find it interesting you are judging my character after never meeting me, servicing my hair, or make an attempt to make things right... You are the owner, correct?
-When I made my appointment, the receptionist should have been told the stylist was not well and unable to work. I've worked as a salon receptionist before, I understand how different everyones' schedules are and everyone has lives outside of the salon. But if someone is having problems with a pregnancy, management should have taken her off of the schedule for the safety of both mother and child.
-It is extremely unprofessional and rude to treat people the way I was treated at your salon.
I understand how dread maintenance is taxing on the body of both the client and stylist, maybe you shouldn't schedule your stylists who are having such grave health issues to schedule such a difficult appointment. Especially if doing business has been difficult since March 2015 and unable to call or text a new client.
I was honestly looking for someone to help me with my hair after my last hair lady fried half of my dreads off trying to make them more ombre' colored. Not to bash someone on yelp.com
I tried very hard to give your salon my business.
I have since found a dread Loctitian who is able to contact her clients through both text and phone calls promptly and respects my time as a paying customer. A novel idea in this day of iPhones and Facebook/ Snapchat/ Twitter/ Instagram.
I'm sorry to leave a bad rating on your salon, I have heard you have many other talented stylists.
Best of luck with your business.
*I would have given zero stars if it was possible after this recent response from the owner, Davy O.
Thanks again.
Lisa
