| - The hotel room is nice inside, the lobby is dingy and dirty with lots of smoke smell. So, before I went to stay at the hotel, I called the hotel to ask if they had a couch in my room so a friend can stay in our room since he didn't want to sleep with another person on the bed. I gave the confirmation number and description of the room). Josh who answered the phone, said yes there is a couch in your room, but it's not a pull out. Thinking there was a couch in my room, I didn't bring an air bed or sleeping bag that my friend was staying with us. So, when we got there, there wasn't a couch, it was a sofa chair, a small table with two chairs. So, my friend ended up having to sleep on the floor without any matting. It was so uncomfortable for him, that the next day we had to get another room. They need to either educate their staff on what a couch is, which is "a long upholstered piece of furniture for several people to sit on," educate them on what they actually have in their rooms, or the staff was too lazy to actually look up the confirmation or the room and just said that there was a couch in the room.
