This will be a little different that most of the reviews that you see here. I'm not a tourist. I live in Las Vegas and found myself in need of transportation on two different occasions in June. I'm a 74 year old senior citizen and I was having eye surgery. I would not be able to drive for 24 hours after each surgery and my wife does not drive. I did not know how I was going to get back and forth between my home and the surgery clinic which is clear across town.
The bus line was out of the question and cabs in Las Vegas are a crap shoot. Will they get there on time? Will the driver speak English? Will it be clean or like riding in a dumpster? Then I thought of these Lincoln Town cars you see around the city. On demand sedans they call them. They are used by tourists and business people alike, to get around town. I went on the internet and found websites for three limo companies and sent those companies emails. I explained my situation and asked about cost and availability of their car services. Only one company responded to my query. That company was United Car Service of Las Vegas.
Mr. Joe Zane sent me a very timely reply with a quote for my trip to the doctor. My wife and I live on my military pension and social security and the cost was a little more than I thought that we could afford. I explained this to Mr. Zane, thanked him for his timely response and told him that I guessed that we would have to take a taxi. A few minutes later he got back to me and said that he had talked to his business partner and they wanted to make me an offer that might better fit into my budget. They did and I gratefully accepted. Then he referred me to his office assistant Ginny to set it up.
Long story longer, their driver Ted showed up on time in a shiny black luxury SUV. He was neat, clean and courteous and had a great sense of humor. The SUV was immaculate. I got to my appointments on time and when the surgery was complete the clinic called Ted on his cell phone and my wife and I were picked up and whisked home in comfort and luxury. I appreciated the way Ted kept a friendly chatter going all the way back to our condo. Hey, who wants to have someone cutting on their eyes and then have to worry about how they are getting home.
Mr. Zane and his crew are the real deal. They will treat you like Royalty if that's what you need. With us they took that extra step and treated us like family. While in Las Vegas, whatever your transportation needs, you would have to look a long time to find a better company than United Car Service of Las Vegas. If they took that extra step for an old veteran think what they could do for you.
