Stayed here for 8 nights earlier this month. Pittsburgh is my hometown, and now that I have a family it's better to have our own space when we visit. I'm a little surprised how pricy hotels are in the area and I think that this hotel is a pretty good value if you don't mind driving.
For the most part, the staff is nice and welcoming. The rooms are decent in terms of space and condition. Also, what is most important is the cleanliness and I would give it high marks for that. Although, 2 of the nights my room wasn't touched even though nothing was left on the door.
The quality of the breakfast offerings was good, but not particularly healthy. Most mornings, I didn't partake.
Lots of restaurant options nearby and Squirrel Hill is nearby and offers lots of ethnic options.
