| - This is the worst steakhouse I've been to. I came for the "fine dining" aspect, not the late night steak and eggs.
We started out with the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were tiny and tasted old. The sauces were pretty good.
Then we had the tableside spinach salad. This tasted fine but not outstanding.
Husband had the surf and turf. Didn't try his lobster, but the filet mignon was tasteless. It wasn't tough, just had no flavor.
I had the lobster. It was sooo tasteless. I kept squeezing lemon after lemon, and them finally dunking it in butter but the flavor never improved.
I will say the potato au gratin was really hot and yummy.
Then as if our entrees weren't bad enough, service was horrific. Ten minutes into us being seated, a busboy brings water. Then five minutes after that, our surly waiter decides to speak to us after walking past our table several times, but not looking at us. I was surprised because Vegas in general is so service-oriented, and especially in pricy places. Anyway, he was just awful. The busboys were very good, though, in general.
Bill came to $145 before tax. I only wanted to tip 10% as I thought our waiter really deserved nothing, but I left 20. Really though, our entire meal was not worth $20.
