I had Dinner at Quiessence, and I love the idea of this place. I really appreciate their effort to support local agriculture and to promote this type of eating. Well done! BUT, the food was WAY TOO SALTY. Unexcusable, especially for the price! I'd probably try it again if they reduced the salt - I could hardly taste those local flavors!
Otherwise, the portions were unusual - some dishes really tiny, and some way larger than expected. The menu ideas and presentations were unique and worth checking out. The wine pours could be a little more generous. The ginger-ale soda was DELICIOUS.
