| - It's an organic/healthy food store people ... it ain't Marc's, it ain't Heinen's and it ain't Giant Eagle. It ain't factory food, no Tyson's, Cargill, Walmart, etc. But, if you know how to shop you can do well. Ah, for example I saw very meaty lamb neck bones for $2.49 a lb. Ahh, perfect for lamb stew. Their butchers are very accommodating and know their products. Their pork is pasture raised and I got country ribs on sale. Their cheese selection is as good or better than Whole Foods and the people are more knowledgeable. And, I love Vermont Butter and Creamery goat cheeses. I'd never buy already cooked meat. I'm lazy, but not that lazy and I am not that smart but I am smart enough to now that any cooked product that sits in a steam table or under heat lambs ain't gonna be tasty. The selection there is a bit limited, not nearly as limited as Trader Joe's but the quality is far superior. The only section I wasn't satisfied with was the bakery. The German choco cake slice I had was dry and the baked breads lack flavor. Heinen's is better in that area. Some things are cheaper there than at Heinen's like Hartzler's milk and the fresh grape juice. You gotta know your prices and products. But, I am so happy to have a store of this qualilty on the west side -- the best side -- that I just can't see straight. Sign up for their coupons and you can do better when you shop there. Finally, I am forever grateful to them for having French Press's and Intelligentsia coffee. I'll never drink Starducks or Cariboose again.
