  • The food was very good. We were four adults having an early dinner on NYE. The restaurant was about 3/4's full. First thing I noticed was the clatter of talking and no background music. Next was there was seating with good views but we were taken to a table in the upper section to the side with no view. We are fine looking people of average size, and we were dressed nicely, so no reason to hide us. Next, a bag was plopped in the center of the table. It was a bag with dinner rolls. We asked for a bread basket and the waiter declined our request: "we only provide bread baskets for larger parties." So, we passed the bag around and when the waiter returned we asked for more bread. He nodded and never brought us more. We ordered wine and the antipasto plate (very good!) and the waiter poured the wine and gave each an appropriate amount except one of us was poured about 1/3 of what the others got. We wanted to simply enjoy our wine and antipasto but the waiter came 3 times prompting us to order, even though the restaurant wasn't full and was actually getting a thinner crowd. We ordered, I reminded about the bread, and the food came in a short time. Very good except 2x we had to remind servers that one of us had not gotten the vegetable side dish that came with her entree. We ordered eggplant, manicotti, and two of the house specialties. We all liked our meals and they were very generous servings. Never got more bread. Just below our table on the main floor, a family was seated while before we ordered our entrees. A screaming child, 2 other kids and parents (5 humans). The kids all got macaroni dishes from a kids' menu. I think their final bill must have been significantly less than our 4 adult meals, antipasto, and 2 bottles of wine. They got a bread basket.
