rev:text	I had been looking forward to a good burger, and I guess I bought into the hype, so I headed to Wahlburger's on my lunch break. Not such a great decision. I sat at the bar, where I was ignored by three indifferent bartenders for well over 5 minutes even though they weren't busy. The bar seats approx. 12 -15 people I guess, and there weren't more than 7 people seated at it, including me so I'm not sure why I had to wave the guy over in order to get a beer. Anyway, I ordered the "Our Burger" (which is supposedly what they built their rep on) and a side of onion rings. When my meal arrived, the burger itself looked great. The onion rings, on the other hand, did not. The menu describes the onion rings as "crispy fried bermuda onion sliced thin, tossed in sea salt & parsley", which apparently means a large bowl of onion strings - the type that belong as a burger topping, and which no one in their right mind would consider or attempt to eat as a side order. As I said, the burger looked great, but looks were deceiving. A shiny, brioche-style bun was strangely hard, and the burger patty was dry and had the consistency of one that was previously frozen. The toppings were good. That's the best I can say about that. Service from the bartender didn't improve either. No one checked to see how my meal was, and it was up to me to motion them over so I could get a fork for the mouthful of onion straws that I ate (definitely not finger food) and later to get a refill on my beer. By the way, props for them at least offering a decent selection of draft instead of the usual macro brewed crap. Two beers, a very mediocre burger and a side of onion straws: $33.00.
