I went with a group to Countdown Live Escape to celebrate my birthday. We had a large group so we split between the Atelophobia and Saw rooms. I liked the uniqueness of the experience. The cons: The group that went into the Saw room came out sweating and complained that the temperature was way too hot in their room. I was in the Atelophobia room and thought the room could have been a little larger for our group to spread out a bit more - the other downside was that I cut my hand against a rough piece of wood inside of one of their clue mailboxes that you have to reach into (I will say it's not entirely their fault for me getting a cut on my hand since you sign waivers beforehand, but it was just one of the things that kinda took away from my experience). On the upside, the staff is very friendly and call your room on a phone to give you clues if your group is getting close, but needing assistance. There was also the right amount of suspense in the Atelophobia room (it was not too PG, but not too scary either). Most importantly, EVERYONE I was with said that they enjoyed it and it was a good challenge, even though none of us escaped. Overall, I recommend trying it for something unique to do in Las Vegas, but I was expecting a bit more from the experience based on the reviews.
