| - If it were to be possible to give this place ZERO stars I would have chosen that option. After finding a mass inside my dogs abdomens by giving him a good belly rub, I took him to my local vet, who them referred me here. The place seemed good at first, then came time for the surgery. After hours of being in surgery and little to no updates alone the way, I was pulling my hair out while my baby boy was under. Hours later, surgery was done. Before EVER getting the biopsy back from this mass I was told "it's 100% cancer". I'm sorry, do your eyes alone see individual cells that you can just tell with the naked eye if something is cancer?!? So here we are in the recovery stage, he's in the back room, in the middle of the floor on something that looks like a mattress top foam piece where people are constantly walking around, other animals crying out in pain. It was NO place for a dog that just had an extensive surgery to be recovering!!! I asked why was he placed here? "Oh well we ran out of rooms." What kind of money hungry place will just keep accepting patients when you have NO room to properly place them? I went everyday to see him and day by day he slowly looked more like himself but at this point I was told he was a high risk patient because of the type of surgery he had. I was grateful to have any second I could with him, since I was told the mass was cancer and high risk. This is where the service just went even more down hill. After taking him home, he started developing a cough, and multiple infections where the staples we replaced into his stomach. One infection had been there prior to him coming home, why on earth they would send my baby home with no medication for this, I have no idea. I would call every time I had a concern with my dog and it would take them HOURS to call me back!!!! Low and behold the biopsy came back and it was NOT cancer!!! What type of person would tell someone their pet had cancer without knowing 120% with some real hard facts to back it up with?!?!? After spending SO far nearly a total of $9,000 possibly even more!! This place does not give a shit once they get paid. They do not return your phone calls and they don't care. AT ALL! I will never in my life recommend this place or ANY VetMed facility to a friend or family member and I will never step foot into this hell hole again. I will be calling the Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examiners Board and will be filing a complaint against the Vet who did the surgery on my golden and if ONLY this place were BBB accredited I would be filing a complaint with them as well!!!
