  • Some variety (back issues, new issues, trades, art books) makes this by far the best comic book store in the Phoenix area. It's actually two stores - the second smaller one just sells really cheap back issues. Friendly customer service here too...I've asked for things that weren't on the floor and a staff member has gone to a back room and found them for me. I'd frequent this place more often if they carried more alternative/underground comics but that's not really a criticism (because I understand those things don't sell well). Also like that it is near Changing Hands Bookstore so that I can make one book-browsing trip. And if you are also looking for records, Stinkweeds is in walking distance as well.
