  • I'm writing this review purely on our experience using Heist as the location of our rehearsal dinner celebration. We booked Heist Brewery 10 months before our wedding as the site of our 80 person rehearsal dinner celebration. Our options were pretty limited given the number of people we had but we thought Heist was a fun spot to gather and they had the space to accommodate us. Initially, we worked with their in house event coordinator (who has since left) who was all over place when it came to contracts, emails, planning etc. The terms of the agreement kept changing and she wouldn't respond to emails or calls - not something a bride wants to have happen close to her event. We were about ready to pull the plug on having our dinner at Heist when Chef Rob and Spencer stepped in. They quickly caught up to speed on everything that had happened and promised to repair any mistrust we had with the establishment. We decided to stick with Heist and I sure am glad we did. Chef Rob and Spencer paid attention to every detail in the planning process through meetings and check in emails in the few months leading up to the event. Fast forward to the dinner and everything went off without a hitch. The beer was good and flowing, the special southern menu they made for us was a huge hit and their service was impeccable. They even added special touches like flowers and table tents on the tables. We are so glad that they stepped in to help us host such an amazing event. If you are in need of a location for a big event, look no further than Heist - just make sure you work with Chef Rob and Spencer.
