  • Rolled into Discount on Saturday around 2:00 pm needing a new tire. I was told that it was not in stock and it would be ordered. I was told that more then likely the order would be placed on Monday, I paid in full, and was told I would receive a call when the tire is in. I called to follow up Monday and Tom advised it is in route from California and maybe would arrive tomorrow (Tuesday). Called on Tuesday and Mike checked with Fed Ex and it was still en route and might be in on Wednesday. When I ordered I did understand that the tire was coming from California, I thought they were getting it from another Discount Tire, had I known I would have called around, Discount has said my tire is not a tire normally kept in stock. It is Wednesday afternoon and I am still waiting for a tire to arrive Fed Ex from California to Discount Tire. Past experience with Discount Tire has been positive, even in this case each person I spoke to is polite, however, I feel brushed aside, maybe it is the fault of Fed Ex, I just know I need that tire.
