The pastries here are wicked but I can't say the same for the bubble tea! I stopped in here last night to try some Chinese pastries for the first time. This place has a huge selection of pastries, cakes and also sells bubble tea.
I got a coconut custard bun, a egg tart and a green onion roll. I also got a watermelon bubble tea. The bubble tea automatically comes with milk and bobba. My vegan boyfriend wanted to try bubble tea without the pearls so I couldn't let him try it because of the milk, so that was kinda irritating but whatever. The tea actually tasted okay and the bobba was cooked well (raw bobba = terrible), but I kept biting into these pieces of burnt black stuff. I have no idea what they were but they ruined the drink for me. The coconut custard bun was awesome however, and huge. The coconut filling was so incredibly flavorful and it was only $1. The green onion roll was kind of bland and unremarkable, it was also only $1. The egg tart was yummy and was only $0.50. The rolls were enough to fill me up and it was $5.50. Students this is your place!!!
