  • I received a $40 gift card for a AAA Car Care Center and decided to use it for an oil change. They told me I had to have a $160 differential oil flush to keep my warranty intact. I decided to research first and found that's only for manual transmission. I thus told them to only do the oil change and anything else they "found" I'd take to my mechanic. When they asked who my mechanic was I told them they didn't need to know. The guy then snidely asked why I didn't go to my mechanic for the oil change. I told him it was because I had the gift card. It was not worth it. After a bad experience at a AAA Car Care Center in Columbia too, I think I've finally learned you can't trust these places.
