Booked a reservation for five at 4:30 p.m. on a Sunday. Our party was there EXACTLY on time but we had to wait just under 10 minutes until the hostess figured out where to seat us...so what's the point of a reservation? Minus 1 1/2 star.
After we were seated, no one came to our table and acknowledged us for 10 more minutes. Huge customer service mistake. The waitress finally showed up but she should've had the bus person bring water and bread while she was taking our drink orders. Again Brio's management, customer service was underwhelming. Minus 1 star.
The drinks were served and our food order was taken then delivered.
1.) Shrimp Mediterranean..5 med/small shrimp on skewer. Small portion, o.k. flavor.
2.) Lasagna..the two members of our party liked the flavor, not the portion.
3.) Spaghetti in red sauce..it's spaghetti, what else can I say.
4.) Veal Milanese...basically chicken fried steak with a small side of pasta. Not worth it for me. Flavor was nothing special. Pasta was plain.
Meal = Minus 1 1/2 star. Flavor, portion and presentation are all lacking.
Overall = Total of 1 star given. Brio's is 100% geared towards tourist who would probably never come back so the attention and details of the staff and quality of the food is not a concern. I will also never come back or recommend Brio's to my friends. This is a customer service town with a lot of choices, first impression counts when it comes to where I spend my money.
