| - This place is SO cute! I have been wanting to come here since I moved here a few months ago and finally got the chance today. I thought it would be bigger for some reason, but the small size added to the absolute charm of it. It is a very small space with only like 2 aisles(literally), but those aisles are packed with snack food, sauces, alcohol, coffee, and all sorts of other goodies. There is a freezer and fridge section as well.
I ended up with some noodles, ponzu, matcha pocky, red bean cake, udon noodles, sesame wrapped rice cracker things, and some chocolates with a crunchy matcha filling. I REALLY wanted to get some of their ready made meals, but I think I came too late in the day( around 1 p.m.) for this to become a reality for me. I was slightly sad, but I will be back. This place is far and a little pricey(just keepin' it real) but it is worth the drive for the selection that they have. I did see some fresh sushi grade cuts of fish for sale, as well as uni and octopus. This made my little heart flutter with delight.
On top of the cleanliness and good selection, the cashier was SO sweet and friendly. It was really just a pleasant shopping experience overall. They gave me a little stamp card. I guess you get a stamp every $10 you spend and if you collect 20 stamps then you get $10 off. I love stamp cards!! Just ask my wallet.
Anyway. Go here! It's awesome. There is lots of snack foods. Bring your piggy bank and get to eatin'!
