| - I have been coming here for 5 years on a weekly basis and I will gladly take my business else where. Being approached yesterday by the "manager" and told to leave because there was paying customers waiting to use the stall... Let me first state that I had just paid for my time in the self wash, and was gathering up my things and running a quick squeegee over the glass to take care the water spots before I moved to the detail area.
This is when the Manager came over and TOLD me I had to move in order to make room for paying customers. At the time there was no one waiting and the detail area was full. So I asked where do you suppose I go?And then he immediately said that he was the manager and that he would call the cops if I didn't comply. Given my rights, I ignored the over aggressive little man and continued to Finnish the job I Paid for.
I understand the rules of waiting, and I would expect to wait at a car wash, in Arizona on a Saturday afternoon when it is full. But this want to be "Manager" has zero customer service etiquette. You do not tell a paying customer to leave in the hopes of another coming along...
Like I mentioned this was my go to spot for convenience, but having what I imagine a employee, who self styled themselves as a Manager, immediately tell me to do something rather than ask, made no sense. If he would have been nice about it and asked, I would would have resulted in the same outcome. (The detail area was full).
So the big problem is this guy told a customer what to do, didn't bother asking, then when a valid point saying the facility was full was brought up. He threatens to call the cops. Real great representation of the company and brand.
Anyone who has to state "I'm the Manager" because that's the only power they have shouldn't be responsible for a business. Especially when the customer was in compliance with the posted rules and the facility did not have adequate space fulfill the need.
Ps. The hoses in stall 5 are busted and leak all over the user.
